Production of various horticultural crops in northern Sinaloa, is being limited by the attack of “root-knot nematode” Meloidogyne spp. The search for alternatives to manage this plant parasite rises as response to this problem; among the solutions is isolation and identification of native neumatophagous fungi from Valle del Fuerte.
